Here's something kinda different. A digital painting I did for a class. It's a magpie.. um that's it really >.>; I attempted realism but then got bored, tired and gave up lol. Heavy use of references though sadly I don't know where they came from.. it was an old file I found on my comp from ages ago. Done in photoshop.

Hahaha I was so cheap using the last picture to do this but at least I redrew it from the front :D Most of the basics are on the sheet, not much else to know except she wears boys clothes 99.9% of the time, is a big cuddle whore, will laugh at just about anything (like me), and uhm.. not much else to say here! Btw, I'm glad you all found the tail poof so sexy, and hopefully you wont mind the little furry happy trail I have her either. Look him up. His foxes in snow are the best. Created in Corel Painter 9/10 for the Midwest Fur Fest hotel keycard. I was very very nervous creating art of which everyone at the hotel would have a physical copy.

I wanted to capture the look and feel of a classical painting, specifically along the lines of Rembrandt's work. I couldn't manage the richness of an oil painting digitally, but I hope that some sense of richness is conveyed. This charming opossum belongs to Loiosh. The couch is mostly of my own design, a few bits inspired from the Handbook of Ornamental Motifs.

This piece still needs some tweaking and some add ons, but is almost finished. I really love circular motifs and enigmatic backdrops with near ethereal creatures. I also like to use words like "enigmatic" and "ethereal". Scintillate is a pretty awesome word that I can't use here. Apparently full blooded wolves do not have blue eyes. I think this creature transcends such earthly bindings like genetic pigmentation. Ha!
